Barnyard Millet Akki Roti
Ingredients
- Barnyard Millet Flour – 1 cup
- Groundnut oil – 1 tsp
- Water – 3/4 cup
- Dried red chilies, chopped – 1 (optional)
- Himalayan Pink Salt – 1 tsp
Instructions
Preparation Method:
- Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.
- Add 1 tsp of oil to the water and 1 tsp of salt.
- Add the flour, dried red chilies to the water and mix well.
- Switch off the flame, cover the mix, and allow it to rest for 5-6 minutes.
- Take out the dough and knead it for 7-10 minutes.
- Make small equal-sized balls of the dough and roll them into rotis.
- Cook like a paratha on the roti pan.
- Serve hot with any chutney of choice and plant-based dahi.
