Millet Poha

Ingredients

  • 2 cups thick millet poha
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp hing
  • 1 tsp saunf (fennel seeds)
  • 10 to 12 dried curry leaves
  • 3 tbsp roasted peanuts
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black salt
  • 2 dried chillies chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and all other spices and seasonings.
  2. Let them splutter and add in millet poha.
  3. Roast well on a low flame and set aside to cool.
  4. Mix together with roasted peanuts and store in an airtight container.
  5. To make poha, add water until the level is slightly lower than the poha, then cover it.
  6. Leave it for 7 to 8 minutes.
