Ingredients
- ¾ cup sesame seeds
- 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
- A pinch of hing (asafetida)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Dry roast the sesame seeds on a low flame till they swell up but don't change color. Cool completely.
- In a grinder, add the sesame seeds, chili powder, salt, and hing. Grind but make sure you do it only till it's a coarse mixture. If you grind it too much it will become sticky.
- Store in an airtight container.
Notes
This quick sesame chutney can be served with idli, dosa, chilla, put on roti rolls and it even tastes awesome with rice!
