Steamed Millet Muthia
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour, 2/3 tbsp gram flour
- 2 tbsp bajra / Jowar flour
- 1 cup brown cooked rice or cooked Barnyard millet
- 1 tsp dried red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp oil
- To taste, add salt
- For seasoning
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp mustard seeds
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
Preparation Method:
- Mix all ingredients well with the help of water to knead a tight dough.
- Divide the dough and make lemon-sized balls, giving them an oval shape.
- In a steamer, steam all muthiya for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, and hing.
- Add the muthiya, mix well.
- Remove to a plate.
- Serve with chutney or besan kadhi.
