Steamed Millet Muthia

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour, 2/3 tbsp gram flour
  • 2 tbsp bajra / Jowar flour
  • 1 cup brown cooked rice or cooked Barnyard millet
  • 1 tsp dried red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • To taste, add salt
  • For seasoning
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

Preparation Method:
  1. Mix all ingredients well with the help of water to knead a tight dough.
  2. Divide the dough and make lemon-sized balls, giving them an oval shape.
  3. In a steamer, steam all muthiya for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, and hing.
  5. Add the muthiya, mix well.
  6. Remove to a plate.
  7. Serve with chutney or besan kadhi.
